One Supreme Goal

1. God is in control and places you where He wants you

"We have no right to decide where we should be placed, or to have preconceived ideas as to what God is preparing us to do. God engineers everything; and wherever He places us, our one supreme goal should be to pour out our lives in wholehearted devotion to Him in that particular work." - Oswald Chambers

one supreme goal = pour out our lives in wholehearted devotion to God wherever He places us

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might..." - Ecclesiastes 9:10a

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men..." - Colossians 3:23

2. God will be with you wherever you go

One of my favorite verses is Joshua 1:9 and it says: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

And there is a verse like it found in Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

So wherever God places you, remember, He is in control, He placed you there for a reason, and He will be there with you.  Our job is to work unto Him with everything we have!

wedding : Ric & Julia

December 30, 2011.  Ric & Julia Miller.

Julia is my 'twin' sister.

First, we took engagement photos:
November 2010

She asked me to be the maid of honor in her wedding.
Apparently for me, that included making the save the dates, the invites, the programs, and so much more.
And I was alright with that.  It was an adventure!

Save the Date:
Invitations with the envelope emblem:
Programs:

I tried to carry my camera everywhere during the wedding festivities.  Check these and more!
Julia even had a homemade photo booth!  Look at em!

engagement photo shoot : Ric & Julia

Another sister is getting married! Julia will soon be married to Ric, or as I like to call him, Ic.

Ric proposed to Julia over a year ago and I'm finally getting around to posting some of their engagement photos. My bad...

Julia asked both myself and my sister-in-law Mallory to take the engagement photos. So we made a power team and took a few photos at Southwood and a lot of photos at Maclay Gardens.  These are a few of my photos.

You can check out their blog here: Miller Life.
