Crab Huntin

One weekend, I took to my two youngest siblings, Elaina and Nathaniel, to the beach.  The sun was setting and it was getting dark.  Nathaniel told us it was time to go "crab hunting."  I decided to go along even though I wasn't sure what he was talking about.  And there we were on the beach with my phone, a flashlight, and a gig spear thing.

To crab hunt, you shine your flashlight on the shoreline and when you see a crab you run after it like a crazy and spear it!  We were hunting for ghost crabs.  Once speared, Nathaniel likes to take the crab's biggest claw off and keep it.

We all got a turn to try to spear some crabs and succeeded.  When we decided to call it quits, we probably had speared about 30 crabs.

It was quite the adventure.
